Something to Live By.
In order for a dream to come true you must make a wish and believe in that wish until you achieve that dream. Every dream starts off being big and only gets bigger, my dream for now is to start over with myself and to find another dream that I can look forward to. All I want to do is believe that I CAN achieve this dream and that I will take those steps to being happy with all my choices.
Well today is thanksgiving, a day where you are supposed to be thankful for the things you have. I never really cared for this holiday, I’m not sure why. But I think some of the problem is because I never actually sat down and thought about the things I do have. I’m not going to lie I take a lot of things for granted, especially the time I have in this one life. I want to truly mean everything I say and truly be grateful for all the opportunities that I have had in life. You never know when your time will come to an end, it could be a disease or a car accident, it’s scary how something so precious as life can be taken for granted and be gone in a matter of seconds. So today I am thankful for my life that I have been given and all the life I still have left in me.
Do you ever wonder what comes next? In your life, in your career, in anything, do you ever wonder what comes next for you? It’s weird how often I think about that exact question even without consciously thinking about it, if that makes sense. Every night before I go to bed I think about all the bad things I did in my short life, but I forget to be proud of what I have accomplished. Those accomplishments make you who you are as a human being and all the bad stuff just makes you stronger and pushes you in the right direction. We only criticize the way we do something or the way we look. It’s because even though we are taught to stand up for what we believe in something or someone brings us down. This may seem like nothing, but to me it’s everything.
So what comes next for me? Well as of right now I am not sure…

In order to love someone, you must love yourself first.

This is completely true because if you just sit there and mope about your life nothing will get done, if you want something, don’t be lazy get up and do it. No one can control your life, but it’s your choice whether you choose to be the controller or the controlled.
This has been one of my favorite quotes for a long time, I’m not too sure as to why but I find it short and sweet and it gets to the point.
